Unforgettable 4th of July

Highlights: After an incredible party at the Mecagni's we ventured to Fletcher's boat house.  The picture says it all...Night kayaking was a challenge. We survived!

Mother's Day Anniversary Adventure

Who:  Brent and Jen
Where:  West Point
Highlights:  B&I did big waves - FUN choppy plunge from West Point (cute town with it's own little beach).  We went  on to see the lumber mill and wild terrain that surrounds it.  Lots of seagulls.  We kayaked to where the Mattaponi and the York meet.    After all of this - a great dinner at a cute place in downtown West Point.  I remember thinking that this place had cool pictures of the town when the mill was being built.

Lake Tahoe

Where: Lake Tahoe - near Emerald Isle
Who: Brent and Jen
Highlights: No pictures of the event...we were having too much fun.  Below is a shot from the beach at Robicon Point.  Brent and I had a great adventure to include seeing our first STANDING paddlers - something to try! We had a great time skimming the coast towards Emerald Isle - we feel so blessed to have people in our lives living in paradise! Thank You Aunt Carol Doersch!

Watkins Landing - James River

Who: Jen, Barbara and Casey
Highlights: Early morning mist on the water - Wonderful! We saw Great Blue and ventured towards the island in the middle of the river - to include rapids. Great FUN!

St. Michaels

Highlight: Kayak to Thilman's Island Amazing! SNAKE at the end made is all super crazy!

West of Montpelier

Where: Lake - somewhere west of Montpelier off of 33
Highlights: Gorgeous Fall colors - beaver dam and simple fun on a birthday DAY!

Deep Bottom - James River

Where: Put in at Deep Bottom - James River
Highlights: Discovering our own island! Great Blue - changes in colors close to the shore. Gorgeous!
